What's Buzzfree Prom all about?
It's all about making responsible choices – on prom night or any other night for that matter. And it’s about acknowledging the right choice because smart decisions aren’t always the easiest, or even the most obvious.
Prom night is big. It’s expensive. And when alcohol and other drugs enter the picture, it can be dangerous – even deadly. In fact, nearly half (46 percent) of all fatal car crashes on typical prom weekends in 2004 involved alcohol. (NHTSA, 2005)
BuzzFree Prom wants the decision to be responsible on Prom night the absolute smartest choice there is. Not only when it comes to saving lives, but also when it comes to saving cash and having all the support possible. The result should be a Prom night to remember, and for all the right reasons.
Not only does BuzzFree Prom offer incredible safe prom tools for high schools, now when students sign the BuzzFree Prom Pledge, an actual pledge not to drink or use other drugs on Prom night, they’ll receive a BuzzFree ID good for discounts and offers on everything they need for Prom and more.
The Right Promotion.
The founder, Liza Orchard, is a veteran of the advertising and promotion world and a firm believer in Cause Marketing – a proven method of creating product preference while supporting our most important charities.
"Some teens save all year to make sure their Prom is the best night of their life. The same advertising dollars spent reaching prom goers can also keep them alive. It just makes sense," Orchard said.
To get on board BuzzFree Prom, click the tab at the top of this page that best relates to you. For example, if you are a student, click 'Students', and then click on the link to register – thanks!
BuzzFree Prom is just the beginning.
There are a host of year-round BuzzFree Programs in development for teens, college students and adults. Our mission is to support responsible decisions whenever there’s a choice to use alcohol and/or other drugs.

HoneyBaked Ham

HoneyBaked Ham Member Benefits Partnership
This month, HoneyBaked Ham announced its official partnership with the Colorado Parent Teacher Association. The partnership will achieve two key objectives:
• Assist PTAs across the state of Colorado in boosting PTA membership.
• Provide our company and franchise stores in the state of Colorado an official link and further partnership opportunities with schools in surrounding trade areas.
With the link as a community partner with schools, stores gain a local opportunity full of ways to leverage. Examples could include: building brand awareness, introducing new customers to our brand, increasing traffic into stores year-round, gain additional catering sales, provide gifting for employee appreciation or presentation opportunities with PTA meetings. The opportunities are endless.
What Is the Partnership Program?
With families busier than ever, schools are seeing a decline in the amount of people signing up to become PTA members. By partnering with HoneyBaked, schools will use Member Benefits from HoneyBaked as tools to help them increase PTA membership. Member Benefits will provide value and an incentive to parents for signing up. In addition, the benefits will drive traffic to our stores across the state of Colorado and offer opportunities to “get in the door” as an official school partner.
How Did This Partnership Develop?
HoneyBaked searched for a way each store could link with an organization within the community. Schools naturally popped to the top of the list. PTAs within each school foster parent teacher involvement in the lives of children, improving well being of children as well as performance in schools. This goal of PTAs is a good link with the heritage of HoneyBaked and its devotion to families and children.

Colorado PTA Member benefits include:
• Honoring 10% off year-round when a PTA membership card is presented (schools provide the membership cards). This offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
Fantastic Fundraising Opportunities!
No up front costs to your group, keep 20% of all collected funds.
Great Catering for Meetings!
HoneyBaked can take care of all your catering needs and is a favorite for teacher appreciation days.
Seasonal Employment Opportunities for Students!
We will work with your high school counselor to provide seasonal and summer job opportunities for students across the state.

NBA-E LLC

NBA-E Funding Solutions
New money from a new source…Money for new programs and projects is right in front of you. The funds are in your wallet, purse or dresser drawer. Most everyone in
America knows about gift cards, but did you know, as an industry average, 8 to 12% of the value of the gift card goes unused and uncollected?

The NBA-E program collects and converts the unused portion of gift cards into cash for programs you choose to support. It is a source of money that doesn’t require anyone to write a check or to buy anything!

The gift card market is expected to be over 100 billion dollars in 2007, reaching 110 billion dollars by 2008. That’s a significant amount, but the most significant number is the amount of money left unused on gift cards, 8-12% each year! Over $8 billion dollars in 2005 were unused and over $9 billion for 2006. As long as the sale of the gift cards increases, so will the unused portion! Call TODAY to get started!

We plan on using  all money raised  to run the organization and fulfill our goals. As we take on more projects i.e., Day Care, Respite, Resource centers and summer camp programs, our monetary needs will increase. For example, it takes $50,000-100,000 annually for programs and therapies not covered by insurance for each Autistic child. A business plan will be implemented for each project with the Capital costs included for the targeted cause.

We will market our cause through fundraisers, charity events and our website, where we will be able to take donations online and sell various items only available from our organization. We also plan to contact Philanthropic Foundations for grant money; solicit donations from Private Donors, Corporations, and sponsorships from companies looking to help our cause.
