Dear Friends of Education, We all know about what’s happening to education.  State funding has been cut and is about to be cut even more.  Teachers are being laid off resulting in larger class size.  Many important programs are no longer available. Districts are charging for busing, increasing the cost of school lunch, sports and other extra-curricular activities and so on.   And don’t even think about the cost of sending kids to college.  If you think that’s bad, wait till you hear what else could happen if Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61 are passed …
